Bring on the juicy and sassy vibes while blending movement, culture and storytelling with guest artist Arielle, an American-born dancer living and working in Cairo, Egypt.
We are excited to welcome her again for another spicy event in our Miami community.
In the workshops you’ll learn new dance combinations and explore fun styles of belly dance. It’s never a dull moment with Arielle!
Put the cherry on top and end the weekend with our classic ladies-only Shimmy Social PLUS a live interview with Arielle.

Learn authentic body movement and rhythm with Arielle’s Cairo-influenced approach

Samba Bellydance Fusion
Learn a fabulous samba fusion drum solo mixing authentic Brazilian steps and Raqs Sharqi.
No Samba experience necessary. Shoes are highly recommended to protect your feet in class. Jazz/ballet shoes, sneakers, ballroom heels, or samba shoes are all good choices.

Melaya Leff with Shaabi Vibes
Learn a fun and flirty character dance using the Melaya Leff prop and lots of Egyptian spice.
Don’t have a Melaya? No problem! Bring a rectangular veil or pre-order before February 5th ($50 per Melaya).

What is our Shimmy Social about?
Get ready for a very unique women’s-only networking event with dancing, community and a safe and private space for ladies to dance. We welcome women of all walks of life to join us, no belly dance experience needed.
What You Will Experience:
Our classic Shimmy Socials include a beginner-friendly belly dance class and performances. In THIS special collaboration with Arielle, we will be hosting an interview where Arielle will share her story and experience while being a professional dancer in Cairo, Egypt.
Shimmy Socials are also a GREAT space for those looking to perform in safe spaces. Bring your costumes and wear what makes you feel fabulous to dance in!
